Dedicated to advocating the virtues of golf, along with providing an introduction to the game, instruction, and improved access for all golfers seeking to become involved with the sport. Particular focus will be applied to youth golf and development and with providing access, instruction and rehabilitation to disabled veterans.

 

PROJECT GOLF: CIRCLE OF CHAMPIONS

 

We provide Veterans and Veterans with disabilities, a gateway to golf!

 

WHAT WE DO:

 

We offer a comforting environment for Veterans to find solace.

Through golf, we connect isolated Veterans with people who care,  empower wounded or injured Veterans through adaptive golf, support established Veteran golf organizations such as PGA HOPE, Salute Military Golf Association, Folds of Honor, Brotherhood of Warriors, the Wounded Warrior Project, and The Hero Program.

Although the Grand Strand has ample facilities, the long-term vision of the organization is to locate a property to serve as the focal point of the mission. This facility will be uniquely designed to create an environment that includes multiple learning and playing areas, including indoor facilities with classrooms and simulators. Along with a practice range, the property will also include a short game area, putting greens and possibly a “short” course. Focusing on introduction and instruction, the facility is viewed as a pathway for golfers towards enjoyment and satisfaction. The facility will cater equally to juniors and disabled veterans.

 

This effort will be in collaboration with current national programming to deliver an opportunity for disabled veterans to learn the game, continue on their rehabilitation, and enjoy all that Myrtle Beach has to offer as a destination. The facility will also be a hub for those organizations to train and accredit instructors on how to properly teach disabled veterans.
